Build your customer base at Facilities Management Expo 2024

As demand for more defined control of building assets increases, the ability of facilities/building managers to provide landlords and tenants with a satisfactory return on investment, is under pressure. Finding affordable and workable solutions to these issues is a pressing need for these managers.

“Clearly, many of these managers have little time to spare in their search for technology and services that will help them to mitigate risks, improve building functionality, remain compliant with legislation, and decrease maintenance costs. For this reason, we have found the popularity of Facilities Management Expo to be growing exponentially. The show not only provides them with a concentrated gathering of South Africa’s facilities management problem solvers, but also opens up a knowledge platform from where they can derive answers to their questions,” says Mark Anderson, Portfolio Director at Specialised Exhibitions — a division of Montgomery Group.

For the fourth time, Facilities Management Expo — being held at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand from 28 to 30 May 2024 — will equip facilities and building managers with the tools they need to keep all stakeholders satisfied.

“Facilities Management Expo 2023 and the co-located Securex South Africa, A-OSH EXPO, and Firexpo welcomed a combined record of 11 465 visitors. The feedback we received from both visitors and exhibitors was very encouraging and underlined the belief that there is an absolute need for a forum of this nature,” says Anderson.

The feedback received from the visitors was extremely encouraging. “I found that the show was very well laid out and found what I came looking for.” Shawn Huysman — SOHO; “A very well organised show.” Craig Carter and Shane Hendricks — Buena Vista Trading 82 Spec Systems; “I specifically came to the Facilities Management and A-OSH EXPO shows to see what the latest trends are.” Moses Mabila — Eskom Holdings; “It was a positive experience for me. It was an opportunity to engage with suppliers that are more knowledgeable. I enjoyed seeing what new technologies and software are available.” Deon Borman —Genius Technologies.

“With 79.1% of all visitors to Facilities Management Expo either influencing or making purchasing decisions, this is impetus for companies sitting on the fence about whether to book an exhibition stand at Facilities Management Expo 2024 to contact our team now. We’ve already sold over 50% of all available space, and we’ve added an additional expo hall to cater for the increased demand, so time is of the essence,” says Anderson.

Not only does Facilities Management Expo benefit by being co-located with the 31-year-old Securex South Africa, the 14-year-old A-OSH EXPO, and Firexpo, but the access to four free-to-attend seminar theatres is another visitor magnet. “The flowthrough from the co-located shows is amazing, with a high percentage of cross-buying happening across the board. In addition, delegates to the Facilities Management Seminar Theatre, the Securex Seminar Theatre, the Saiosh Seminar Theatre, and the Working at Height and Safety Seminar Theatre, naturally walk through and onto the exhibition stands prior to and after the seminar sessions they are attending,” says Anderson.
