Facilities Management Expo 2019 exhibitors share plans

JOHANNESBURG  – This year, visitors to the Facilities Management Expo, have lots to anticipate. The show will be co-located for the first time with Securex South Africa 2019, Africa’s largest security and fire trade expo, and A-OSH EXPO 2019, an annual event that highlights Africa’s occupational health and safety concerns in the workplace, providing attendees with free access to all three shows, incorporating more than 300 exhibitors, five seminar theatres and more.

For three days, from 14 to 16 May at Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, visitors with an interest in facilities management will be congregating to source new products and services, seek information on current and future trends and network with other facilities management professionals. The Facilities Management Expo exhibitors are currently hard at work putting the final touches on their plans for the upcoming show. Here is a small taste of what can be expected.

Citiq Prepaid will showcase its expertise and product offerings in the prepaid meter and utility vending systems arena. Almost a decade old, the company’s proprietary vending system enables property owners and landlords, as well as their tenants, to access detailed reports to efficiently track and manage electricity and water consumption.

In today’s times, being able to eliminate costs, quickly resolve disputes and take the hassle out of payments while keeping the utilities on is a vital and important consideration for all building owners and managers, landlords and agents. Citiq Prepaid will be conducting research at the show on the biggest challenges faced by local facilities managers, so visit the stand to provide your input!

The Kenai team will be hosting demonstrations on the company’s facial recognition systems. Kenai has dedicated its efforts towards creating the most seamless sign-in experience possible, and will be showing visitors an impressive list of innovative features such as on-premises agreement signing and host notifications across multiple platforms.

Visitors are bound to be interested in the possibilities facial recognition can bring to the sign-in experience, and should make sure to make a turn past the stand.

Another exhibitor bringing the latest innovation to this year’s show is Nu Flow. The company will be showing its Nu Flow Pipe Relining solution, which effectively rehabilitates the inner infrastructure of deteriorating or failing water and drainage pipes within buildings and infrastructure using an array of cured-in-place epoxy pipe lining solutions. Gone are the days where leaking pipes need expensive fixes and, considering the water shortages and failing infrastructure that se gushing leaks on all sides, this is definitely a solution worth considering. Nu Flow will also be hosting pipe relining demonstrations on their stand.

Eworks Manager will be at Facilities Management Expo this year, bringing focus to two new features to its flagship management solution – Smart Planning and Eworks Tracking. As a company that services a vast list of industries, including plumbing, HVAC, property maintenance and construction to name but a few, Eworks Manager knows how vital the effective, efficient and automated management of teams, tools and resources can be, and can also demonstrate how much effective planning can save companies at the end of the day.

Visit Eworks Manager to garner a first view of the new modules, which will soon be available locally.

Visitors are able to register for attendance at no cost by visiting www.fmexpo.co.za, gaining access to all three shows. To join the Specialised Exhibitions WhatsApp Broadcast list for the Facilities Management Expo, please visit https://www.fmexpo.co.za/whatsapp.php for details.
