In 2020, Facilities Management Expo aims to provide an annual platform for suppliers, end users and professionals to network, share intelligence and best practices, and stay updated on the latest industry demands in facilities management planning and execution.
In much the same way as we experienced in 2019, which saw the expo joining Securex South Africa and A-OSH Expo for the first time, speakers and exhibitors alike will be on-hand to advise and guide visitors on all aspects of the industry, including green planning, facilities care and maintenance, showcasing how companies are designing their buildings to better integrate with new facilities requirements.
2019 saw several brain tweaking topics being debated in our seminar areas, including:
- A proactive approach to every security situation;
- New privacy laws on FM service providers and how to react within the context of compliance risk;
- Revolutionising AI: unexplored;
- Green buildings, Industry 4.0’s effect on future buildings management; and
- Outsourcing challenges.
We anticipate more of the same this year.
In fact, the ‘2020 Vision’ theme running across the three co-located shows endeavours to bring the future to the present for the entire value chain – including facilities management, security and occupational health and safety. Here, we are challenging ourselves and our exhibitor teams to highlight current and upcoming trends that will affect our visitors, while also providing them with comprehensive answers to their most pressing business concerns.
