Drone demonstration area, powered by Africa Drone Kings. Drones are not only useful tools for taking awesome aerial photographs, but are increasingly used to provide surveillance of large sites, such as on mines. Remote aerial surveillance is an area where operator skill and control room experience meet, and provides additional support for other security measure. Watch the specialists demonstrate the versatility and benefits of drones.
The Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) recognise and reward companies, people, and innovation across the security sector. The prizewinners in the six categories, will receive their awards at Securex.
SAIDSA Techman Competition. SAIDSA-Certified Technicians will compete in the wiring and installation of an intruder alarm system consisting of 10 products on a display board, with strict judging criteria. The technicians will be required to plan, wire, terminate, glue, harness, and mark each product to a control panel according to SAIDSA minimum installation standards and within a specific time limit.
K9 Demos. Watch these expert dog handlers take these highly trained K9 dogs through their paces in simulated security scenarios.
